amBit v1.0.4: Invite Easier, Move Faster, Search Smarter

Every update is a conversation between us and the people using amBit daily. v1.0.4 is shaped by the patterns we observed and the feedback you shared — where friction still existed, where flows could be shorter, and where small improvements compound into a noticeably better experience.

Here's what changed and why.

Grow Your Community in One Tap

Getting people into a group used to require explaining a process. Now every group has its own QR code and shareable invite link — post it in a tweet, drop it in a Discord, print it on a flyer. Anyone who scans or taps joins instantly.

This matters because community growth shouldn't have a tutorial. The best Web3 communities grow organically through word of mouth, and the invite flow should be as simple as sharing a link. Now it is.

We also refined the personal invite page — your invite code can now be copied independently, so when you're bringing friends onboard, they don't have to navigate through extra steps to sign up.

Wallet: Leaner and Faster

The built-in wallet now loads noticeably faster, with a cleaner interface for the flows that matter most right now. This version supports USDT deposit and withdrawal, streamlined for speed and clarity.

We're building the wallet layer deliberately — starting with the most common use case and getting it right before expanding. More asset support is coming, but a wallet that works reliably matters more than a wallet that supports everything poorly.

A small change that removes a daily annoyance: URLs shared in group and private chats are now tappable. Tap a link, and it opens directly in amBit's built-in browser — no copying, no switching apps, no pasting into Safari.

This sounds basic, but in a platform where people share project links, documentation, and DApp URLs constantly, the difference between a tappable link and a plain-text string is the difference between a five-second action and a thirty-second one. Multiply that across a day of active group participation, and the time savings are real.

Search That Finds What You're Looking For

Global search on the Messages page now jumps directly to the exact message in a conversation. Previously, search could find the match but dropped you at the top of the chat, leaving you to scroll. Now it takes you to the precise spot.

For anyone who's ever tried to find a contract address someone posted three hours ago, or a specific piece of analysis from yesterday's discussion — this is the fix.

Under the Hood

Beyond the visible changes, v1.0.4 includes stability improvements and UX refinements across the platform. We've also added crash log capture — not glamorous, but it means when something does go wrong, we can identify the cause faster and ship fixes sooner. Building a reliable product means investing in the infrastructure that makes reliability possible.
